the dark side takes another one

I have got to get a set of these XS sights. Every time I want to order them, I need to buy something else (usually non-gun related). I hate that. :(

Sounds good. I have a carbon copy of your G19/XS at home. I've been starting to train with it more and more. I'll probably carry it more once my Milt Sparks order arrives.

'only' 32 days? I guess thats the only downside to a FL permit. I sent mine off a month ago, no phone call yet (which is usually good) but im expecting to not receive my permit for another 2 months tops. Everyone says expect 90 days.

I think its ridiculous for any state to have a wait period of over 30 days, Washington is a 30 day wait, most counties outside of the main county here get theres within 1-14 days, while mostly everyone in King County has to wait the 30 days.

OR is 45 days, mine took all of 43 days to get to me. My Utah took close to 90 as I remember, or at least he maximum (60?).

It's taking me as long to get my Big Dot sights as it did for you to get your permit.

Don't order from Boom Boom Tactical... that's for damn sure.
Find somewhere else, or order straight from XS.

You guys have nothing to complain about whatsoever in wait times. My permit was 13 MONTHS from application to ownership.

    NY state.

Yea i have heard that too, but most people tell me to expect 90 days. Like i said im about a month in. As long as its hear in a reasonable amount of time (end of summer) ill be fine.

:coold: I filled out my application and got printed this morning. The lady behind the desk said to come in this time next week and pick up the permit.

So Ive been carrying the past few days and Ive noticed....

The gun on my hip is the most comfortable thing Ive been carrying, its the extra magazine and flashlight that seems most uncomfortable for me...I really don't want to carry a Mag holster because I really dont want to print, but I may have to look for other alternatives to carrying my mag rather than my pocket

Yeah, I find the spare mag to be a hassle as well. Because of the way I'm built there is pretty much no way I can carry it in my pocket comfortably.

The best method I've found is in a Comp-Tac OWB pouch at about 10 o'clock, but I'll admit I don't carry a spare mag religously like I should.

A flashlight I can get away with in my pocket.

Carrying a gun with 1 mag is better than not carrying a gun with 2. :)

Yeah, and I think most trainers are going to recommend that you have a spare mag, if not a spare gun. ;)
