    first impressions:

    heavy as fuck
    nice clean contemporary appearance
easy to use (if you reference the manual for a few things, id say theres about 20-30 minutes of "getting the hang of it, which isnt bad)

sound: much more visceral and clear than that shitty sony i was using, sound is more balanced and sound levels reach nice and high, high enough to stress the piss out of my studio 20s (i rly want those 100s now)

the field is much better placed , it seemed to raise it up a bit from where it was before and balance it out

used the YPAO with some bass adjustments afterwards

ill get more in depth after ive used it for awhile

    paid: 735 with 3 warranty
    recommend: yes

My Yamaha receiver has been awsome for the last 10 years. If I ever need a new receiver it will most likely be a Yamaha.
