    holy crap, this thing is a -tank-.

    i really dig the horizontal head.

    488 ballhead hasn't arrived yet. :(

    i wonder if i'll ever use it. :o

    I got the 486 ball head and the Slik 700DX legs.

    Couldn't be happier, the thing is fucking amazing.

    and for $160 shipped, I feel like I stole it.

    I love em. They're ridiculiously sturdy, go 7' something high, and you can unscrew half of the center post and go to ~1ft off the ground... The whole setup is a little bulky, but it comes with a decent bag, so it's not too bad carrying it it around...

    I'll get pics later. F'ing car lost the clutch in the middle of a bridge last night, so I gotta deal with that this morning... :squint:

    I have an older set of 055 legs... they are unbelievably strong. I can put anything on them. Have to get a ball head though.. I bought them from a guy used with a 2 way video head for $100. I figured I ripped him off, but he was happy with the price.
