    know the question is should i use my money to buy the upgrade 2005 Impala SS or a 3.5L CTS with 6 spd

    plus with new pulleys, spark plugs, and cams i the 05 ss can run high 11 low 12s

    I say get the Impala SS. The CTS isn't very impressive.

    was this tested in New orleans a few days ago with a 140mph tail wind?

    Dude, hate to burst your bubble but those times are more than a little unrealistic. The 3800 supercharged is a great motor (I've got one in my '04 GTP, for sale, BTW ;) ).

    Figure $150 for a pulley and modular system (a must if modding), $20 for a set of new spark plugs (NGK TR55's or TR6's), $50 for a home-made LRI and $300ish for a custom fabbed catback and I'm running about a 14 flat.

    There are freak cars that can get into the 13's with minimal mods, but they're rare.

    i'm getting the 3.5 cts becuz its rwd and 255 hp, and its a lac
