Finally taking actions to protect myself. Now I just have to wait for my holster to get made and show up.:wiggle:

What is that towards the bottom of the muzzle, at 5 o-clock? A gouge/scratch? It almost looks like some kind of crack/roll/flake in the metal there.

It's a TINY scratch. It's so teeny that I can hardly feel it with my fingernail, the photo makes it look much worse than it really is.

    Ah, I see.

It doesn't appear to be on the crown, so I wouldn't think it would be a problem. I only asked because it almost looked like some sort of strange manufacturing flaw in a couple of the pics.

Yeah, it looks real bad in the photos, but it's not. Since it's not in the crown, I'm not too concerned with it. It's not a show gun, and nobody will see it, so it's not much of a concern to me. :)

Besides, if your lookin down the "bidnes" end of that thing, that'll be the last of your worries. :)

If you had a holster for it you could shoot it tomorrow. ;-)

  11. I was reading the rule book looking for that. It says that revolvers must be loaded to the division capacity of 6 rounds. Does that mean that you can compete with a 5 shot revolver, and just be 1 round short?

Hahahaha, I've been considering shooting IDPA with it. Of course I wouldn't be competitive with a 2" barrel, but it would certainly give me some good experience. It's like autocrossing a station wagon(which I've done also). I'll probably get a few speed loaders when I order ammo. :)

    Do they allow appendix draw?

Heavens no, keep that trigger covered, break up the print, keep the gun oriented properly, keep dust and dirt out of the gun. Everyone nees a holster ;)

I was only joking. I keep mine in an Uncle Mike's size 3 pocket holster. When I first got it I put it in my khaki's pocket to see how it fit and it was very clear that it was a gun.

    :)

Wether you'll be competitive or not, you know, you'll have fun. I always said I'm going to stop doing this once it's no longer fun. Besides, it's better than just shooting it at a range.

My boyfriend, Market Garden carries it.

It's surprisingly not bad at all. I find it pleasant to shoot.

Lol, I didn't even notice your username. Chicks + guns = cool.

  21. It's easier to shoot than the G26/G27. I don't know if the heavier slide of the G29 makes a big difference, or if it's just the different burn rate of the powder used in the 10mm, but it's a lot less "snappy" than a small 9mm or .40. It feels a lot like a .45ACP to fire.
