Unfortunately I didnt get a baseline before I starting going back to the gym but I'm around 14-15% body fat. Is this decent for someone my age (27) and size (5'6"/145) :dunno: I've been lifting about 2 months now, whats a reasonable goal for me to shoot for? 12/13%?

Depends on where you carry your fat. What method of testing was it?

    Post pics.

how difficult will it be to drop 4-5% body fat?

calipers she measured 3 spots 3 times each and took the average...triceps, abs, and near my hip whatever the tech term for that is :o The only place I really carry any fat is my stomach but thats even not noticable I'll try to post some pics tomorrow

ya i keep most of my fat at my stomach...grr. but you sound a lot like me. i'm 5'8 and 140. i used to be 160.

it's not difficult if you have the right mindset. i needed to drop some fat after lacrosse season. so i did hiit and lost a lot of the weight. finished off with a 10x3 routine.

hahaha...you'll never be 5%. Only people who get bfi #'s with calipers think 5% is a reasonable goal.

How'd you get it done? Anyone know if there is there anywhere you can go to get it tested by Hydrostatic Weighing? Maybe a sports physician or something? :dunno:

i was about 12-13% when some student calipered me, after doing all the measurements he found some off, did it over, and at the end he was like "ya so you're at 8% bodyfat, that's like elite athelete level, way to go dude"

i just laughed and told him he was wrong. made me feel good tho. damn lying son of a bitch.
