Just got it today in the mail from Copes. It's in excellent condition and the bore is perfect.
Nice, I was really happy with my kit from Copes. What are your plans for it?
copes ftw, thats where I got my G from.
i'll be getting one next paycheck
Probabally NDS3, bb, and 5 compliance parts. What trigger works well in the nds3?
There was talk about the Tapco G2 single hooks having problems with the nds3, but I've tried one in mine and it seems to work fine. If you get a double hook you do have to cut a second slot in the receiver since it only accomodates single hooks.
my single hook works just fine after almost 1k rounds through it.
personally, i went with a MMG setup on mine (there are pics somewhere around here, I'll dig them up and post them at work)
I would like to either buy an AK or put together one myself. Where did you go learn about putting one together?
secrch google man. There are probabally hundereds of writeups
I dont like the mmg. I have a bb on my ar and it's great so I'm just going to use one for this. I'm trying to decide if it yould be worth it though to get a spot welder and bending jig...
I figure MMG > BB, since especially with the AK, it takes like a minute to swap back at most.
I probabally will go with the raad lock tho...not the BB. It looks pretty good. I am about to send in my order for 2 nds3's...figure if I might as well pat 160 for 2 instead of 105 for 1
link to info on raad lock?
I thought radlocks were only currently on HK systems?
Nice kit. I always meant to pick up a G kit but never did. G2 should have no problem in the NDS3. If it doesn't it takes like 5-10 mins to fix it with a file. If you're concerned about it buy the Arsenal trigger when you get your NDS3. I think it's like $45 or something.
I'm pretty good with metal and making things work. I'm just gonna get the single hook G2. Plenty of people have it on the nds3 reciever so I figure it cant be that bad
