Just picked it up from my FFL today and it's pretty . I've never even fired an AR before so I don't have much else to compare it to, but the fit and finish on this thing is nice. I was a bit worried by the picture on AIM's website because it looked like they did the engraving by hand but it looks way better in person. Multi caliber markings, HK pictograms, and an awesome serial number to match my glock.

Only semi-issue I have with it is that it has a high shelf so no RDIAS, but that said if I ever stumble upon $13,000+ for the FA parts, dropping another $40 to have the inside milled out shouldn't be a big deal... Or buying a different lower all together. Whatever.

Anyone have any experience with Aero Precision? I just picked it because it was the only place I could find that was still shipping product after the election. Can't wait to put this bitch together, but it probably won't be until late Jan early Feb to get my Stag 2H upper along with the LPK and all that other shit.

A friend of mine has one of those... His is mostly complete just waiting on a barrel/hand guard and it can be shot.

I love how people who will never have a RDIAS always complain about a high shelf :riaa:

The only chance I will ever have a DIAS is if society as we know it crumbles and M16 parts are readily available. Even then I probably wouldn't give a shit.
