I got a new TB installed and picked up 11rwhp and 13rwtq.

done on a well-calibrated Mustang dyno
"base" numbers are with a load
"after" numbers are an unloaded run (ie dynojet)

i ran [email protected] with 287rwhp and no traction last i was at the track. now i have 4.30s, new TB, and soon new tires, lookin for 12.8 or 12.75 with regular street compound tires at around 113, and 12.3ish when i slap on some street radials

basically ive got 45-50rwhp more than stock out of pullies, intake, TB, and tune. imagine what will happen after headers/exhaust, and maybe cams down the road (350rwhp on Mustang dyno :hsd: )

    for those who can't read:

298.0rwhp and 307.3rwtq on Mustang dyno
330.5rwhp and 344.7rwtq on unloaded run (dynojet)

BTW: 254rwtq (Mustang dyno) at 2000rpms...WOW considering my insignificant mods

...let the 2005 mustang gt bashing begin "but, but you coulda gotten a GTO and had an LS2"..."but, but my stock corvette is faster..."(PS-no its not ;) , already downed a few c6 vettes on the street, and a number of c5s at the track)

long live ford for finally doing a mustang RIGHT!

please dont "but this car handles better than urs" crap...ur either blatantly wrong cuz you don't have a clue how much is done to my suspension, *OR* i already know that car can handle better and its a MOOT POINT (ie, c6 z06, porshe 911...tho a tricked out GT3 was not able to pull a foot on me through the canyon roads out in Malibu/the valley)

...this is just to show dyno numbers.

You beat stock C6's with 350 rwhp with 298rwhp and 50 less cubic inches?

nice numbers and times. That's pretty impressive considering how few mods. Personally I'm more of a GM pushrod fan, but I love what Ford has done with a lot of their newer mod motors too, with the 3v heads and SOHC VVT setup. Very good stuff. The Stang engine is also a Ward's 10 Best Engine this year too. :)

    yes, a couple
you forget to factor in rear end gearing...of which i have a LOT (4.30s)
gears alone (well, 4.10s at the time) took .4-.5sec off my 1/4 time

if i had 7liters it might be better race lol. you win tho

    me: 1.06 rwhp/CI
z06: 1.00rwhp/CI (assuming 425rwhp on mustang dyno)...but with the weight diff its not even a race...and throw in a cam...
GOD i love the new z06:o
