i really don't get why we don't just wear the army ACU. this whole "each service develops its own camo uniform" just smacks of fraud, waste, and abuse.

    oh well, flight suit ftmfw

Dude....what sizes did you get? I dont know what I want to get
I have suits in 42 and my AF blues jacket is a 38 which is like 8 years old lol
used to not fit so I was borrowing but had to do a change of command and I lost like 30 lbs (married weight) and got back into lifting and got all fit again

    so it fits now

was thinking a 40 but I hear the sizes are still a bit big...on a small base and even the big bases 3 hours away only have like a 30 and 36 for me to try on

    way to small....

I got a 40XL in the shirt, and a 40R in pants. The reason I got such large pants is because there were 40R and 34R... the 34R felt like spandex so I went up to the 40R. I am thinking about buying a 36L from an online source.

well shit im 6ft 180lbs...40 would be swimming on me
I have large regulars now from when I was like 210 damn married weight
so now I fit back into med regs easily and I hate these large ones I got

    think ima do 36 pants

Or for that matter, why didn't we just stay with the current BDUs??? Since everyone else changed their uniforms, wouldn't we have been different by default?? And look at all the money the government would have saved!

Yeah, I got those emails. But the Kellac website also says that theirs are nIR rated just like the AAFES ones. More than likely, they're coming from the same manufacturer, minus the DSCP tag.

Never mind the color. Obviously the powers that be weren't thinking about maintainers when they thought suede would be a good idea. Oil/Hydraulic Fluid+Suede=Permanently destroyed boots.

well they are ordering mine and I guess they are giving you 6 t shirts to start you off plus 6 pairs of green socks

the rigger belt sizes are going to confuse people to death its like 34 40 46 and 52
so im getting 36 pants and I ask the lady which belt do I want

shes like 46 they run small

wtf kind of shit is that

I figured it was the same company. They just cut out the DSCP middle man. Sounds to me like the Kellac ABUs will do just fine when I get my clothing allowance in February. I'm not buying them until then, because I don't feel like dipping into savings to buy uniforms I don't really need at the moment.

Speaking of uniforms...anyone need green or desert flight suits in 48L?? I have a bunch and probably won't be flying ever again.

can you check to see if they have any 36 L pants? If they do will you ship me a pair? I'll paypal the money! I know MCSS should be able to ship them for free, but they aren't doing this with the ABU yet.

Koby, make sure they sew the stripe on the permanent crease properly. Do not accept it if it is not sewn on correctly. My 1st Shirt had the dry cleaners sew on his stripes and the left arm is off center by a half inch. He tried to iron a new crease and it didn't work out so well.

As for color, it doesn't matter. I will wear the darker one with the greener one and mismatch the two.
