so im about 80% sure i made the varsity A boat for UF rowing.

i've been sort of on the bubble this past month, but ive been kicking ass lately in practice.

def. helped from lifting a lot over the summer, so thanks to you fitness freaks for laying some tips down in this forum.

Absolutely. There are members here who spend a lot of time in the gym and when it pays off it makes every hard workout worth it.

definitely....i upped my leg press from 300lb to reppin 615lb, arms behind head....and my legs reaching my chest (im flexible).....but yea, that shit really did pay off.....at first i was worried because i was suckin a lot of air, but once i got my endurance back, that extra strength helped me surpass 90% of varsity in our indoor rower workouts.

rowing is 85% legs. you use your legs to push yourself off a foot stretcher, then ur back once legs are locked, finally arms in.....reverse....and repeat.
