well my wife got credit for 7500 to get two bikes however now I am thinking about only getting one and getting some gear with that money instead. THen after about a year of learning I can get a better bike or do you guys think we both should get a bike? can 2 people ride on a bike and be ok?

also do you think if i only buy one bike for 3200.00 that the dealer would give me cash back for the rest of the money on the credit??

    1. Don't ride 2 up with a new rider
    2. BUY A USED BIKE! You can get a very nice GS500E for 1k, and a very nice Ninja 250 for a bit more USED.
    3. About the loan, no.

This is more for putting gear on credit, and then getting the cash for the bike on credit???

And if you are a first time rider you should not have a passenger.

There are not enough :ugh: 's for this thread.

This sounds like a recipe for financial disaster.

ok becuase my wife is telling me to only get one bike but then we cant go cruising together etc... so its better to get two.. maybe one new and one used to start off with. we are also taking the safety course in march so thats the first thing on my list.

Get a shitty bike for this summer.

What if you hate riding. Well then you are only out a grand. What if you wreck it? Insurance payments are cheaper for liability.

Seriously, DONT GET A NEW BIKE. Get one shitty bike you can both learn on.

Then next year get two decent bikes.

Remember there is always next year.

maybe I should get a new one and then a used one for now. I mean this bike new is only 3000.00 so its not that much.
