alright, so I got a car cover for my legend (blown up motor, so its not going anywhere) and I am wondering what I should do now since there is a cover. Should I just wax the car like normal before putting on the cover or is it fine to leave the car dirty. I would assume i need to at least wash the car, but I am not really sure.

    Thanks a bunch

I would definately wash it, otherwise the cover will scratch the paint. If the car is going to be covered for awhile, a good coat of wax couldn't hurt anything.

Wash the cover with a mild liquid soap like Woolite.

"just got a cover" infers that it's new.

Read it too fast...thought he was talking about a dirty cover rather than a dirty car.
