I spent a day in San Xen Xo and O Grove but that was the most touristy I got to see.

The fires got REALLY close though....I had gone to take pictures in Ferrol at the castles on the river and went back a few days later to take wedding pictures there and half the hill side was burnt.

Are you from Alicante? My mom's side of the family is from La Coruna...I go every summer for around 1.5 months

very nice use of color... i need to go to europe for a couple weeks, spain is definitely on my list :) also I like that gallery software... do you know if it supports displaying exif information?

one comment/suggestion because I notice it in my pictures as well... try to keep the horizon level, particularly in the beach shots. it's distracting to have them slope off 2-7 degrees.

I got a bubble level for my flash shoe to help with that and i'm going to get a grid focusing screen for handheld shots (my biggest problem)

I dont think there is any exif feature with simple(indeed)viewer. Most of the shots I post online I use the adobe save for web feature so it is lost anyways. (i still keep full size edited versions with exif)

I deffinetly suggest checking out little towns in spain especially along the coast. May not be full of touristy type stuff but thats where you really get to see a lot of cool stuff.

I also noticed my horizon problem. I have started using grid lines on the d70 which has helped.

I am also going to try now a different flash viewer...simple viewer is nice but its a pain in the ass to do everything especially if your just adding one or two pictures. i will post a link to new gallery im testing in a bit.

iirc he's got an 18-200 vr... seems pretty good at the wide end from the resized pictures anyways... it is a great range for not changing lenses.

yeah, 18-200 VR. I like it alot but wish I had something wider like 12-24 for most of these pictures.

if you were on fool frame i'd suggest a 20mm and 85mm prime for most of your shots.

so yeah adding a 12-24 would be nice... I'm thinking about getting one. a fast 35mm prime would be a good addition as well.

    Thanks everyone!

The hardest part is looking at a set of 500 pictures and then deciding which will be printed/added to web...

Did you sell it on ebay? If someone offered me 1050 for it right now I would sell it without hessitation. Thats 200$ profit. I could stick with like a tokina 12-24 and a tamron 28-75 for that and be happy for a long long time until the price drops on the 18-200.

    Someone offer me 1050 dammit!

yup, and i did it outside of an auction (contacted bidders on previous 18-200 auctions) so i didnt have to pay fees

i should get rid of my kit lens for that tamron 28-75
