i need a new phone, and i'm srsly considering driving down to buffalo to get an iPhone, jailbreak it and use it up here on Rogers...I just have a feeling that the second i do that is the same time they'll announce that it's officially coming to Canada...

Downgrade the baseband and go to 1.0.2 from there.

I have an 1.1.2 iPhone and honestly, I feel no urge to jailbreak it. It just isn't worth it to me. I can wait till February or whatever and use "official" 3rd party apps.

Whoa, is that true? :eek3: I wasn't planning on getting one for a month or so, but I was still deciding on whether or not I would hack it. But if you can't mess it up, I definitely will.

Yeah pretty sure its impossible to brick, anyone whose said they bricked it on the macrumors forums has ended up fixing it just by putting it in restore mode and restoring it..never seen one bricked, you just gotta know what you're doin and you wont have any problems at all...but like i said, any problems ive seen have all been fixed, people who couldnt even boot theirs up ended up fixing it through restore

:hsugh: Most cameras have an auto mode, makes 99% of pics turn out well. You fall into the other 1%
