    nice. i loved mine.
I cant tell, but it looks like you have a used, somewhat older model. if so.....
take a file or some emory cloth or fine sandpaper and round the tip of the hammer a little. the newest P22s actually come from the factory that way. by rounding that a little, it will reduce the drag on the slide, and improve the reliability.

nice. I was just looking at those today.

Around here they are selling for 369 new. If you don't mind how much did you get yours for?

Whats the first letter on the serial number? Looks like an S. L's are the newest followed by N's I think.

Make sure your mags end with an A, those are supposed to be the new ones. Original mags had feeding problems.

yea I shoot that gun all the time. My best friend has one in the military green. Its extremely fun for prinking at the indoor range, but not so much for any type of defense situation. Thats what I have the XD9 coming in for :noes: Still at like 2 cents a round you cant fucking beat the fun you have at a range with a P22

I barely shoot my p22 anymore. I need some more mags for it, the 10 rounds go way to quick in one mag haha. I think I spend more time loading than shooting

I heard that P22 can be picky about its ammo, what ammo do you guys use? And how much is it per brick?

you can fix it by taking a little off the hammer hook so the hammer locks into its engagement position earlier.

    edit: go to www.rimfirecentral.com
they have a great resource for P22s

I've tried a few different types. I had flawless operation through over 200rds using CCI mini mags. You need to use a high velocity bullet.

The one ammo that's been flawless through my gun is the Federal Premium match I think it's called. Was like $35 per 500 after tax. I tried the cheap remington from walmart and it's shit, so I've stuck with what I know works every times. I've put like 2500 of the federal through my P22 with 0 problems.

Yeah, the guy that wrote that is on RFC all the time, he really knows his shit.

I keep meaning to get a p22, but the prices around here suck. I did find a good deal on one at a pawn shop, with the laser. Then I noticed the sights had been broken off (who needs them with a laser) and I found a roach in the case

The main reason I bought it was that an old co worker gave me about 3000 rounds of federal lightning. I brought some of it to the range and the gun jamed after every round the range officer saw this and gave me 20 rounds of cci velocitor and it didnt jam once with those.
