Got this one this past weekend. Never would have thought I would get one from such a high ranking officer. Guess I was in teh right place at the right time.

Like I said just the right place I suppose. It was me, and a few other MSG Marines that met him at the local airport here as he was passing through, after he got off the helo, to board his plane he seen us came over to us, we introduced ourselfs, he shook our hands and handed each one of us a coin in the process..then talked to us a few minutes, took some pictures, then went on his way. Really cool guy

I got to meet him and got a coin from him while I was over in Kyrgyzstan while he was the Vice Chairman. A pretty good guy. I remember some young officer asked him for some advice career-wise. Gen. Pace first said 'Don't get caught.' then went in to some real answer. If I can ever find the coin, I'll take a pic. It's packed up somewhere.

Nope. When I first found I was going to Kyrgyzstan, I thought they meant Kazakstan. Didn't know they were different countries.

I got a coin from a chief once while doing his retirement! One of the coolest guys I have ever met! He was the chief of the reserve security forces squadron at Barksdale and before that the chief of the security forces squadron at Ellington field. Awesome guy. He had an open bar at his retirement and insisted that we all have a round with him!
