the pistol grip in OD green?

yeah, well knoxx makes one like that that reduces recoil, but I wanted the compact footprint of this one

Verm has one on his 590. It really does knock down the recoil.

I would use a sling on my nonexistent (yet) shotgun, because when I go hiking at my friends property (900+ acres) it would be nice to have the shotgun on my back, while I carry my AR.

I dont have anything against slings on shotguns, just ones will ammo loop and other stupid things. And why would you carry two long guns while hiking?

    Incase the wilderness attacks. :noes:

All my handguns are 9mm (save for the .357). Not good for stopping an animal. At least a shotgun with slugs or OO Buck would do more damage than my Baretta.

Plus blowing shit up with a shotgun would be great. Expensive and pointless, but still great.

Nothing wrong with a sling IMO, just dont overdo it.

Varmint hunting? For fun? Long range target practice? Does it need to be justified?

I recommend the SideSaddle by TACSTAR for holding extra shells.. holds 6 shells, and mounts on the receiver. Allows you to reload without having to take your eyes off the sights.

They've got one for the Mossy 500.. $29.99. I love it.

There is a mounting plate that attaches to the side of the reciever. The sidesaddle then mounts onto that. I can take pix of mine if you want so that you can see it better.

does the mounting plate screw on? does it come with something to replace the regular pins? just trying to figure out what i'll need to do, and i don't like adhesives

It screws on. One screw replacing the pin that holds in the trigger group. The other screw replaces a shorter screw inside the chamber going through to the side of the reciever. Then the sidesaddle screws onto the mounting plate. There are no adhesives involved.

    Your light is: :greddy:

Go Surefire or go home. All that shit you toss on an AR and you can't even throw a decent light on your shottie? What's wrong, pockets starting to run shallow after your spree?
