Just wondering what I should look into as far as a red dot solution? What type of rails are available?

Can't wait to go plink with this thing...

is that a suppressor or just the barrel so it meets legal length?

I don't think so, my GSG5 was a blast, the only reason I sold it was my wife didn't like holding the PK variant without a stock. If I had bought the rifle version to begin with, I'm sure I'd still have it. Sure, it had trouble cycling subsonic ammo, and needed a little work out of the box (tightening bolts and adding loctite, etc) but it was fun as hell.

For plinking and just messing around I would probably go for the PA Micro (T1 Clone) instead of the M3 clone.

    I'll look into it.

Put about 200 rounds through it today, it was a blast. Don't see what would make a better plinker. Can't wait to get a 3 point sling and some optics.

Did you get that rail also? Hopefully so, otherwise you might have trouble mounting it :o
