Honestly Refer to my post in the Sticky at the top :bigthumb:
I would kill for that system in my house.

That is a dream system for me, Although I do get to sit in it every day and tweak with it. Also it does belong to the family. Its just not the same if its not in my house :(

So they have been released? Hmm I wonder if anywhere near me sells them. If I find anything I'll post.

Those JL home subs look beautiful, and according to people who were at the CEDIA show in September, they produce massive amounts of clean bass.

However, if you are looking for maximum SPL's for your dollar, the Danley Sound Labs DTS-20 might be the ticket. It is a "folded horn" design that uses a single 12" driver but is capable of producing as much deep bass as maybe 4 of those Gotham subs. It is $3,000 in passive form, and $4,000 in powered form. A guy over at AVS forum has one and he says he got nauseated the first time he used it.

if that sub is as loud as you say it is then its easily worth 4 Gs, impressive appearance as well.

been looking at subs lately, and I came across SVS and decided to look at their box subs

    SVS B12-Plus/4
    http://www.svsubwoofers.com/subs_b12_plus_4.htm
    http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volume_10_3/svs-b4-subwoofer-9-2003.html

I'd like to hook that beast up to this:

Crown K2 Stereo Amplifier (bridge it)
    http://www.fullcompass.com/Products/pages/SKU--29071/

2500 RMS watts on a multiple 12-inch sub subwoofer and as u can see the review on the hometheatrehifi site even the K1 did outstandingly loud playback, the additional wattage would be godly. I think if I ever go ultra high end I'd love to go with something like that combo.

Looks pretty impressive. You'd need to have a dedicated circuit breaker for 2500Watts! That's over 20 amps at its peak lol.

and imagine 1 of those in each corner of your room doing 10 kilowatts of combined power:eek3:

and if you got huge speakers as well running 7 channels that could be another 1000 watts. (easily)

    11-12k watt sound system ftw
