Should I power the computer up and do the updates to vista before putting the new video card in or put the new video card in first?

I'm thinking going the first route is best.

it shouldn't make any difference. Just get SP1 for Vista and get the newest drivers for your video card from the manufacturer's website.

might want to power it up first just to make sure everything boots fine before you open it up.

that would at least isolate problems if your getting erros when video card is installed.

    T/S 101, cut problem in half:hsd:
