    First off here's the pic.

The paint is awful on it from close up. It was repainted back in the 70s anyway how do I get a white residue off of it looks like old wax and make this thing as shiny as I possibly can? My plan is to get it painted within the next couple of years but in the meantime I want to look the best I can get it. It may be beyond that.

    thx

you might wanna be a little careful if it is an old single stage paint job. unless it was painted recently with a two stage, there are things that have to be done differently, wouldnt you agree scott??
