A used Tamron 28-70 2.8 is already on the list, leaving me with about $250. What else should I get?

    I'm thinking about the following:

    1) a remote trigger

    2) Canon 50 1.8

    3) an inexpensive back-up body

    4) a new bag (I'd sell my 6MD Home at that point)

    5) this thing: http://gadget.brando.com/all-angle-remote-viewfinder-with-live-view-screen_p01201c057d001.html

    6) Panasaurus pano head

    7) canvases from Jared

    8) something non-camera related (probably a Wii, but I dunno).

Can never go wrong with a 50mm prime. Remote triggers also come in handy.

had a grip and hated it.

I could go with a backup battery or two though, or an off-camera flash bracket.

I'd love one, but don't need one. The 40d suits me fine right now. If I somehow make some money at this, I'll upgrade to one of those later.

I hardly know what I am doing with one flash, bit strobist stuff appeals to me.

And yeah, I'm digging the more canvases idea.

Keep the 28-135 for midrange stuff and get a used 70-200 f/4 IS if you can find one.
