I was trying to reinstall windows xp, but instead i ended up with 2 versions of it and now when i reboot, it askes me to choose which platform i want to run, and both of the choices are windows xp (only one is with all my things installed on it, and the other one is a brand new empty version). By question is, how can i uninstall the version of xp i accidentally installed? Thanks in advance

i tried, but now the problem is that it wont accept the system restore cd, it says "please concast the compaq manufacturer...." I'm not sure whether this is connected to me having to xp platforms..or what. The computer is virus free btw..
