    pound of steak, some of which i made fajitas with, a few buffalo wings, a salad, glass of apple juice, and a vanilla protein shake :big grin:

    why the need for a protein shake with all that meat/protein already?

    cuz i had that when i first came home from the gym, then like 30 mins later when the steak was ready i had that :big grin:

    1 lb of steak- 123.82 g protein
    Protein shake- 21 g protein
    few Buffalo wings- 20 g protein
    Total- 164 grams of protein

    2 tortillas- 50 grams carbs
    2 cups of mixed salad- 3.26 carbs
    Total- 53.26 grams of carbs.

    This is from fitday.

    IMO the carbs are really low and the protein is to high.

    i had a cup of oats in my shake too, dunno how many carbs in that, and theres 21g in 2 scoops of whey, but i used 3 (so another 10g) and 16 oz of milk with it too, so another 20g protein :o

    this wasnt meant to be a f&n thing, some mod moved it from the main forum.

    i think it was ceaze that was quoting someone and said "if you're sore your body is telling you that you didnt have enough carbs or protein", well today, i'm not sore at ALL :h5: and i went all out at the gym today, normally after a workout like that i'd be VERY sore :wiggle:

    Carbs are too low, but most people who lift try to get their weight in grams of protein per day. :dunno:

    i ate carbs through the day, this was just meant to be a bragging thread on the main forum but it got moved, i know it wasnt the most balanced meal :o
