good workout?

  1. this is the workout I do every day, I'm not sure if I should be doing the same excercises 4 times a week, should I?

    here it is

    4 sets of bench press
    2x5
    2x8

    5x5 hang cleans

    3x10 curls

    3x10 barbell rows

    when i get a new gym set, i will do
    2x5 squats
    2x8 squats

    and lat bar pull down, 3x10

    i also do this excercise, i forgot the name but i take a heavy dumbell with both hands, place it behind my head and lift up and down, good tricep workout 3x10

    what are some other workouts i can throw in with barbell and dumbells only (home gym)

    try getting different muscle groups different days
    ie- monday- chest
    tuesday- shoulders
    ect
     
  3. I hear resting a week is good before using the same muscle group, is that true?

    I'll try to split up my workout, but I need my squat rack first, then I'll split up legs and upper body.

    You can do an upper lower split.....
    Mon upper, Tuest lower, Wed upper, etc.

    Or you could do a body part split as previously stated....
