I need a projector for a traveling salesman with a portable screen that will work with a Macbook Pro. I don't want to spend an arm and a leg.

    Anyone got any ideas?

I got the InFocus IN26. It has native 1024 x 768, but will do 1400 x 1050, as on a MBP 15, which is what the salesman will have. Also got a screen.

And it's huge, always a plus for a traveling saleman. Something like the HP mp3130 would have been a better choice for travel.

Its slightly bigger than I'd hoped, but its not huge. He's metro so he always packs a suitcase. This will easily fit in a carryon bag.

It plays movies very, very well. Who the fuck needs a plasma/lcd TV when you got one of these?

Well, I own a projector (InFocus 4805) and I can tell you that I am looking for a decent LCD for regular TV viewing. The reason: $300+ bulbs. They just wear out too fast using it for movies and regular TV.

How fast? It would be bad form for me to wear it out watching movies.
