A&P good tripods?

    looks like some good ones at decent prices

    what are some of the things i shoul dlook for in a good tripod, i like the bubble level and geared elevator

    Depends on what you plan on doing with it.

    but any good tripod should be absolutely steady when you have it set. If it wobbles with your camera on there, it's not doing you much good.

    If you plan on hiking (you don't strike me as the hiking type though) weight is a concern.

    If you're only using it at home, look for something with the reinforcements between the legs and the center shaft.

    I love my Gitzo Explorer. I heard Giotto just released a new set of tripods as well. I'd say, if you're serious about taking photos, just splurge and get a good tripod-it should last you forever.

    well i do go camping from time to time and i would for usre bring it along there...

    look on that page i linked above.. i cant see it but maybe you can, whats the difference between the 39.99 one and the 59.99 one

    i think the 39.99 is the one that i like the best and i cant disagree with the price thats for sure
