Good to buy from Crucial.com?

  1. Should I buy ram from them? Are their reccommendations for ram for your system accurate?

Yes. Also do searches or wait for their coupons, they have ~10% off from time to time.

If you aren't overclocking or running a server it's perfect memory. I've been buying there for about 7 years as a reseller.

If server memory I'd suggest dataram ftw...

For server memory, I'd suggest sticking with the RAM the vendor provides. Yes it's a lot more expensive, but I've been having a relatively high failure rate with dataram compared to the RAM that comes with HP, SUN, IBM, Dell...

Dataram is a lot cheaper and their service is great, but if the cost of downtime isn't an issue, Dataram is perfect. We try to keep dataram on non-critical production machines and test environments.
