looking for some new tires for my new wheels...currently having 215/35/18...all four of my wheels are biatched by the road. I had 225/40/18 before, I still dont think the sidewall is thick enough to protect the wheels. So i'm thinking about 235/40/18, has a little wider bump stick out to protect the wheels...

but the question is, what tires should i get?

General Exclaim UHP, ratings are GREAT on tirerack, $104 for 225, $170 for 235.
BF Goodrich g-Force Sport, ratings are GREAT too, $165 for both 225/235
Kumho Ecsta SPT, ratings are good, slightly lower than both above, $150 for 225/235.

    help guys...any other recommendation?

    Dunlop FM901 :dunno:
I like them, been through one drift event and will go through one more.
I really like the sidewall on my 17x10 's, and next to my friends who's running Kumho's they seem a little wider even though we have the same 245-40-17

Dunlop and BF Goodrich tires in general are decent. Stay away from the General tires... they are horrible.

teh zeix is an "all season" tire, i'd got for the fk-451's instead, they really aren't much more anymore.

Make sure the place keeps them in stock, you will need some new ones next year.
