Was at a crawfish boil tonight and started talking w/ two guys who are hunters. They were both like, "I love .40" and I said, "I had a .40 but sold it" "What did you have?" "And XD40" "Ohh, good thing you sold that piece of crap" So I asked, "why?" and fully expecting something like, "They rust" but no... here's what he said... "I know a cop who had one. He was sitting in his living room getting read to clean the thing and dropped the magazine and racked the slide back to eject the case and then closed it and dry fired it to take it apart but the bullet was still in the chamber and it fired" I said, "That's user error" and then we proceeded to have an argument on how you should visually inspect the chamber clear. He kept saying, "My extractor has never failed before" Fucking rednecks.
