    Besides glucosamine and chondroitin?

I'm just not used to the older male body, and so lifting with my dad is foreign to me. I don't know what to suggest for him to minimize joint stress and all of that, and what I REALLY don't want to happen is to burn him out before he even really gets started. :hs:

He also had tennis elbow 2 years ago he's afraid of reinflaming, and still has mild carpal tunnel syndrome in one wrist which he has a brace for.

I would love to get him on HGH therapy, but I think he's a little scared of it, and from what I hear it might be difficult to find a doctor who would recommend it.

Damn, hadn't heard of it, but if it does what it claims to that sounds perfect.

I started devloping some serious bicep tendon pain from pulling with a mixed grip. One week on cissus, the pain is gone. I can straighten my arm out normally with no pain/discomfort.

supposedly has some mild anabolic effects after a 10 days, too

Human growth hormone, if you can get your doctor to prescribe it for him.

Edit: fuck, didnt read your post till after I posted

I would agree on the glucosamine for sure, I would also recommend garlic extract and maybe fishoil. Cissus sounds over hyped, but it might be as good as what I'm starting to hear, I ordered some 2 days ago and will be giving it a try.

I'm going to print out some shit on it for him.

I told him all about it, but mentioned how general use in older men isn't a common use for it (yet), so he's afraid of weird side effects. Diabetes doesn't run in our family, so I doubt insulin resistance would affect him much.

Who knows. I'll see what I can do. I know it would give him about a 1000x confidence boost if he'd just try it for 6 months.

Omega-3 is good against inflammation but it should be in everyone's diet.

Fish oils definitely. The insulin resistance stuff with glucosamine isn't terribly well proven, I don't worry about it; take it regularly for tendon/cartilage support.
