everyone's gonna have a different opinion on what's better...it's a matter of what fits your foot best, and is within your budget

I use sacomy's and wouldn't think of switching it up

and yes, go to a speciality running store, and let them know you're looking for a shoe and they should *if they give a shit* look at the bottom of your shoe and have you walk barefoot to determine what kind of shoe is good for you...if they don't, leave and go to another one...usually the good stores will let you try one at a treadmill for a few days to see if you like it, so make sure to ask about that too, so you don't end up with a shoe you don't like

    Define cheap...

I swear by Mizunos for my running shoes. I love them. You can pick up previous seasons shoes for around 75-85$ and new pair for about 120-130$.

I got a $70ish pair of Asics from Kohls, and I'm happy with them.

I usually go with New Balance, though...

I love asics, but they aren't cheap. The style I wear is $95 and most of them range from that up to $130ish.

The only problem is, they're only good for one night.
