Whats the best and/or average price you guys have seen on a Glock compact (G19 or G23), or fullsize (G17 or G22)? How about on the M&P compact or fullsize?

The reason i ask is, i have a family member who says he can get me about any gun i want for just over wholesale...i want something to compare it to.

I paid about 5 1/2 brand new out the door for my G23 (I just looked because I kept thinking it was 4 something out the door)

I wasn't looking for the "best" price, more of the ease and convenience of where I bought it.

I know Gander Mtn here (like the only place to find a decent gun without having to special order it...prepaid) has the Glocks for $599...which i thought was really high, but so far i haven't found one for less than $520 unless it was used.

Buds Guns sells M&P's for $399 a good bit.. none on there now for that but they were doing it forever for awhile now... still they're mid $400's and up.

if you can get guns at just over wholesale, i'd be looking at a step or two above glocks.

not that they're not good guns, but why waste the opportunity to get something better?

Got my 17 in OD NIB for $425. Plus, it was in-state, so no shipping or FFL :bigthumb:

I think your best bet is to go to gunbroker and search for auctions within your state.

I dunno, $439, and even $399 sometimes (shipped) for an M&P with a $50 rebate and 2 free mags sure sounds like a damn good deal to me.

I wish I had waited, to take advantage of that deal. Oh well, you never know ahead of time.

Budget...getting it from this guy may allow me to get a glock or m&p where before i may have only been able to get a taurus or something. So basically...i'm trying to step up.

G19s are typically 449, or 499 with the Glock night sights, at any of the Houston gun shows.
