    My father has the following:

    1980 Firebird Esprit
Emerald Green (was orignally a Yellowbird)
    Crager rims
    4spd slushbox
    301 V8

This car is all OEM except for the rims and has less than 100k on it (he guessed 80k). He asked me the following:

"I've decided to sell the 1980 Firebird. I don't want to simply set it out with a "for sale" sign, I would rather find something like a website where classic cars are auctioned. Or a special interest group."

Thoughts? I told him I'd look here first. I didn't want to tell him that I really don't think the car is all that special. :o

  2. to the right buyer it might be special

but Im not sure where to sell it. Try a dedicated 2nd gen board, there must be a few out there. Or have him hold on to it for a bit, 2nd gens are the next big thing, pricing of 1st and 3rd gens is getting out of hand. People will start looking at the other gens pretty quick

The interior is factory original, though, and worn out. :hs:
