A&P good picture face recognition software

    pretty good photo recognition software

    its supposedly uses same engine as many security agencies and scans through all ur pics (thousands) and will organize each pics in a folder and state exactly whos in it..

    Picasa3 has awesome face-recognition, and it uses your google accounts and contacts to manage it

    I imported my photos and it recognizes maybe 10% of them. Identical photos from the same session and the only difference is f-stop. It will tag one face and not recognize the same face in the next photo.

    I looks like it will be great to manage once everything is tagged, but I see a lot of manual tagging in my future while I watch DVR...

    the more you use it, the smarter it gets, though. and you can select and tag a whole group of faces all at once, if you like

    and you can go into the options and change the suggestion and cluster thresholds
