i just found out im gonna be getting an internship though the Department of Public works back home in SF. it pays $17.22 an hour which is fucking GOLD for a 20 y/o  (and i'll be working ~40 hrs a week, so about $1,400/paycheck)

first up is a remington 870 followed closely by 10/22 upgrades. maybe build my AR down the line :x:

im so happy :hs: my mom works for them and hooked me up. i still had to apply online but she told me that they were basically told to hire me :wavey:

As someone who was once 20 with extra disposable money let me suggest you save as much as possible. Its cool to upgrade your .22 and buy a new computer, and buy new lenses now but in a few years you'll think a fat bank account to use for a down payment on a house or to buy a new car flat out is way cooler.

An aunt of mine has a house in Berkeley that's in a medium/high-crime neighborhood that could fairly be described as a "shithole" that might go for $40K in Dallas... think she shelled out more than ten times that amount and it's a "bargain," even with the massive foundation work they're doing.

Don't understand the CA real estate market at all.

Nice deal. Wish I could pull that much right now. Well I do, but I work 70-80hrs a week :hs: One of my best friends just got promoted to my manager (asshole, I've worked there longer than he has, he just got done with school before me when they needed someone) so hopefully this summer I'll be making a bit more.
