i tweaked my knee yesterday and i'm walking kinda gingerly still. hopefully it'll be a bit better tomorrow but i'm not gonna risk it. i was wondering what alternative exercises i can do instead of GMs and DLs.

how about hyper extensions while holding a weight? That should keep your knee outta it. good luck with the recovery!

How did you tweak your knee first off? The knees aren't even the main joint at issue with those movements.

it was a soccer game and i somehow found myself in between goalie and defender. both slid in at me and i think i fell awkwardly. i saw the physiotherapist yesterday and he said that it's muscle on the side of the knee that may have been slightly damaged. there aren't any bruises or swellings but walking is a bitch and a half. i figure if i'm having trouble supporting my own weight i can forget extra. i'll see how it goes later. i'll start light, if there's pain i'll just do the alternative exercises.

if it hurts, don't do it. thats how you really hurt something. give it time, let it heal and consider it time off. if anything, do some light upper body work

    atleast thats what i'd do.
