Where? I'm looking for a decent price, hoping to keep my cost around 800 for the complete AR.

    Like THIS? Good deal?

Coleman tyler sells some dpms stuff cheap if you're looking for a plinker. Don't be afraid of putting together your own lower though, it couldn't be easier.

What does it take to put together a lower? Is it much cheaper than buying a completed lower? Any special tools I would have to buy specifically for putting the gun together?

Putting together a lower wont save you any money over buying a normal one. If you want a specific grip, trigger, trigger guard, and stock then it will.

It's easy and it's cheaper. Also, you do get the satisfaction that you put it together and you learn a little more about your AR!

This shows you how and cannot be easier to do!
