Well the old dell is getting replaced.I see they are running some deals How does this sound. At 1,099 its cheaper than my old XPS 500 !!

I just want to do your basic surfing and a little MPEG work. Nothing fancy just being able to up load some short clips onto the web. I already have cable so I dont use AOL or any of that other crap.I figure all this with a flat screen isnt bad. If the picture sucks I have a Trintron with a great picture and I'll throw the flat on my old xps500

Not a bad deal I suppose. Very similiar to my current setup and I have no complaints what-so-ever.

Looks like a good deal to me. Infact the specs are similar to the system I am setting up for an employee at work now.

Although we get to put all the Novell shit on it and Novell is the master at making a screaming machine seem like a 486. :sad2:

:werd: That's how that setup differs from mine. Video card isn't enough and HDD space was too small.

Upgrade the vid to 128 if you plan on gaming, and the HDD to 80 minimum..
