Just bought, it's perfect. Just need to upgrade RAM to 4GB. My grandmother is going to love this machine.

What did this retail for originally? That looks like a really good deal.

I'm not sure to be honest. I think this was a custom ordered iMac because it has specifications that don't seem to match anything I can find online.

BTW, should I get Memory that runs 800mhz to match the FSB of the CPU? It seems the stock memory that came with the iMac is only running 667mhz. EDIT - nevermind, I guess 667mhz so-dimm is what I want.

EDIT - nevermind, it's an older model one, Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Apple-Desktop-Display-MA877LL-SuperDrive/dp/B000R81W7U

Just joking, it's actually going to replace the PC at my family's place. My younger siblings will be using it for the most part, and I'll be using it when I'm home on the weekends.

We like to have a lot of applications open. :o

BTW - if we have separate personal accounts on the Mac, will everyone's iTunes folder be separate or can we have a central location for everyone's music?

oh ok, cuz 4gb is kinda overkill for grandma alone.

you can have one folder, in the shared folder. just redirect it under every account's itunes prefs.
