Audacity is the only one I know of. Garageband will do it but its not as easy. Soundtrack will do it too but its also not as easy nor is it free. Peak is supposed to be the best and of course it is definitely not free.

I was messing with an MP3 in Audacity earlier today. I could play it and make a selection but i couldn't move the play cursor at all. Nor could I fast forward. I had let the whole thing play through.

    Am I missing something?
