Hopefully I wont be getting twistered right and left. :hs:

Actually I expect to do pretty well. I've trained with some of his students, and they did some weird stuff, but they seem to be jiu jitsu guys like everyone else. I'm not a big fan of the rubber guard.

my instructor just had knee surgery.. so a brown belt is teaching tonight.. and I'm just not in the mood. I want to try something different, and I have a few questions about the twister. I've been playing around with the setups and want to get it right. i like no gi more.. but i think training with the gi is part of BJJ, and only doing no gi doesnt give you the whole picture.

I wasnt particularly impressed. Eddie wasnt there, but one of his brown belts was.. he showed a couple cool techniques i hadn't seen before. I kinda re-learned some half guard sweeps I already knew, but learned some details that made them a little better.

As far as the sparring went, I couldn't tell who was good, and who was bad.. because they don't wear belts.. but I rolled with six different guys, and I made them all tap. Some were blues and maybe one purple. :dunno: They weren't bad or anything, just not particularly good. Like an average jiu jitsu school..
