you should get the nylon punches off ADCO if you're using them for AR stuff

I have some craftsman rollpin punches that have done everything I've needed them to do.

I've got a set of craftsman and then a few assorten nylon ones in specifc sizes. I couldnt justify the cost of the sk, snapon, or matco punches for the little "gunsmithing" I do.

craftsman has a lifetime too, if you break one take it back to sears and they'll replace it.

This is getting harder. Sears has started rejecting anything they think might have been abused and adding rules on what "broken" means.

I have a collection I have gotten over the years, the KD hold up well, as do the snap-on ones. I don't have any SK but they make good shit. I would get at least a couple brass drifts, they won't mar al to much.

No shit? I haven't returned anything since I had to take one of my dads screwdrivers back after either my brother or I left it in the yard a few years before and that was atleast 7 years ago :o All of the tools I've bought recently have been Klein and I will probably stick with them when I can.

    Sounds like it.

Some guy my dad knows used to work at the foundry that melted down broken Craftsman tools. He said everyone would mill around and whatever the dump trucks lost they would run over and grab then return it to Sears for a second time. Apparently everyone he worked with had outstanding tool sets :mamoru:

I have a friend that used to work for Sears, apparently he would mark anything you wanted down to a ridiculous price because he could :mamoru:
