going to the gym to much?

    I was wondering about how oftem most of you guys visit the gym? I just joined about a month and a half ago, and I go about 5-6 days a week. Is this to much to visit the gym? My main problem is im really confused on the order in which I should do things. As in talking about the combination as in back and tri's one day, chest and biceps another day, I dont know the proper order to get the best results. I just started doing cardio, but i dont want to over due that at all.

    My current specs when I started are horrible and are not much better

    Age. 23
    height 6'2"
    weight 155

    Current all the same except i weigh a little more 163, still horrible.

    Dude, you need to bulk badly. Eat more food & avoid cardio, you should have a target weight of at least 215.

    i didn't think you could really over-do cardio
    i go 6 days a week though
    mwf is lifting
    tu/th/sat is cardio while cutting
    sunday is cheat/complete rest day :o

    i'm not bulking. i need to lose a few lbs, so i'm still cutting, thus the three days of cardio combined with my lifting :coolugh:

    wow i thought my target weight was like 185 or so, 215 i dont think i ever could become that heavy! I do eat alot, alot of smaller meals per day as I have been told, but I dont put on weight easy but im trying to do as much research as possible to change this situation, without posting to much bugging all you guys.

    I'm about 5'10" 190 (not exactly lean) I'd say you can hit 215 easily...then cut.

    after a restful weekend pigging out on dirty food, this weeks split will look like:
    sun: rest
    mon: shoulders
    tues: back/bicep/forearm
    wed: rest
    thur: legs
    fri: chest/tri
    sat: rest

    I go 5 times a week on a 7 day routine, taking a rest day when I need it. Sometimes it comes out to a 9 day routine

    you're 6'2 and 155, you don't need to cut anymore

    4 days, christophers' routine + day for side-bends, crunches, more tricept extensions and whatever needs work.

    3 days a week works best for me. I have seen much better results than when I was lifting 6 days a week.

    Find out what works best for you.

    Dude, I eat a staggering ammount of food. I never thought I would gain as much weight as I have, and never killed so many chickens.
