For IDPA... anyone recommend anything besides Comptac single pouches? Probably get 2 singles so I can just use 1 for carry and both for IDPA.

Oh and how are the Tek-Loks? Might be nice having a mag pouch with adjustable cant.

So, I guess you've accepted the eventual hate you'll be getting for this, right?

I love the bladetech w/ the tech locks. I use them for 3 gun

I don't shoot the idpa anymore because it's lame compared to the other shooting games out there but IIRC you can't cant the mags. Not that you would want to because they make you wear the mag behind the hip bone I believe. The canted mags are for near your belly button for uspsa/ipsc limited and open division.

Rad, I know we've been giving you a lot of shit about the SR9. The truth is, it's a relatively new model, and has yet to prove itself. Unfortunately, Ruger has a history of making horrible autos in anything other than .22. Not to mention that there was a video of a demo that Ruger shot, and the damn thing was falling apart.

With that said, let us know how it works out for you. It's obvious that you love that gun. I'm sure we're all curious as to how this thing will really hold up after some heavy round count. So, once you've got a decent amount of lead down range, let us know if it's still doing good. I don't mean a decent amount as in 1k, but the amounts regularly seen in IDPA and IPSC matches.

I have both the blade tech and comp-tac double mag pouches.

they are both decent, I prefer comp-tac. I like the design better and they seem to be a little better made.

Got over 2k through it... stopped counting... still running strong. What can I say, the price was right and the grip feels fucking great. Might get another handgun next year just cause I'm tired of the way the SR9 looks :hs:

I use a Blade-tech mag pouch for CC with my Glock. It's been great.

figured it would be nice for small of back or a little off of that with it being adjustable.

Hmm, so the Tek loks on comtac use comptac pouches with the blade tech attachment. Best of both worlds?

Shooting comps are overwhelming for me... IDPA is held at our local impact so it's pretty low-key... I'll probably do that a few times and decide if I want to try something bigger later.

    no they are both fine.

a ton of folks use the blade tech.

It is a totally different design than the comp-tac of course.

for the noob either will be fine I am sure.
