I've got 2 1 gig CF cards right now, what would yall suggest to pick up before I go? I'm debating between 2 more 1 gigs, a 1 gig and a 2 gig, or 2 2 gigs. I have a laptop I could bring, but I would prefer just go get more memory instead of having to worry about another 1500 dollar piece of equipment. Any suggestions?

I believe that should be enough for a week, as the first half I'll be volunteering with doctor's for the most part.

I went on a trip a couple years ago and knew I'd be taking alot of pictures. I bought a X-drive which is just a portable hard drive with a cf slot. I would just transfer my full cards to the xdrive and my laptop.

Probably just as good. At the time of my trip, the price of a 2 gb cf card was a couple hunderd dollars. Now they are chep as hell.

I read reviews where by doing this, the iPod battery dies before everything gets transfer or something like that.
