I just went to Death Valley in January. The weather is probably a little warmer now and if you're lucky, there will be some wild flowers :big grin:

Take a tripod with you. Wake up EARLY to catch sunrise (I recommend Zabriskie Point for sunrise) and make sure you're there for sunset (give Dante's View or Badwater a shot for sunset.) If you're so inclined, bring a remote cable release so you can try to get some star trails, the sky is super clear out there.

    BRING LOTS OF WATER.

    It's gonna be hot, 80-90s.

Turn your schedule around so that you're awake at night for shooting the sunset, the stars and the sunrise.
