What unit are you going with?

I just got thrown on the T/O as the Air Officer for our battalion. I'm pretty stoked to be going back. :h5:

Depending on your rank--as an E-3 you make at least a G every paycheck tax free. Thats WITH HFP/IDF (Hazardous fire pay / Indirect fire pay) and per diem of 3.5 per day. Not worth it imo

I make way much more than that. :wink wink: close to 5.5k/ month just for military pay, not including my civilian pay i get while deployed.

Well, it's definitely not great, but it beats pay in garrison.

Hmm I think I bring in an extra $700 and that's without family sep pay and not counting the per diem.

While I was with the guard, I was making more in garrison than while deployed.

~ $2000 base pay, ~$1900 per diem, ~$1500 bah, + flight pay and all the other extra pay.
