Goddamn roxio!!!!!

    I installed roxio easy media creator 10 but i didn't like it so i tried to uninstall it , So i goto uninstall programs and there's like 20 damn roxio programs in there :rant: I think i uninstalled the main one but then I get some kind of error saying that there is some shared files and all this bullshit. :fawk:roxio:rl:Don't ever install any roxio programs

    It's been years since I ran Roxio.

    They've become the perfect example of bloatware.

    If you're having trouble deleting the remnants of it, try going into safe mode.

    I've never had any issues with their products. You just have to be very careful when you install it, instead of clicking the "Complete Install" option. On the other hand, Nero always has, and continues to, rub me the wrong way every time I try to use it.

    Frankly, if you use "Complete Install" for any product, you deserve whatever you get.

    How am i supposed to know what the program needs to run it??

    I actually like most of the Roxio products. Like said above, I always do custom installs and especially with Roxio since the full suite has a bunch of programs.

    Most custom installs have the core requirements grayed out so can't not install them.

    RTFM, that's how. Do you think they print that shit just so you can stuff it under the short leg of your kitchen table?

    custom install is always the way to go, i even use that option with msoffice.
